Not a bad job for a cripple girl. Actually, I thing you are really onto something here, Cyndi. Your interview show could really inspire a lot of people both disabled and not. I'm proud to be a part of it. Keep it up!
All the best,
Jim Troesh
Kudos to you and The Freedom to Travel Show! Thank you for having me as
your first guest. It was such a pleasure and I am honored to call you my
friend.
Your show will help to put the disabled community in a new light. It will
help people understand that although the word disabled implies that we are
physically limited in some way, we are still capable of achieving far beyond
our own expectations. We are still intelligent, compassionate individuals
who seek to explore the world just like everyone else.
With heart-felt appreciation for all that you're doing,
Josie Varga
Cyndi, Today in America I sense a deep loss with our ability to feel allegiance and respect for heros. We used to have them. Now it seems to me that this new age of information lets us see beyond the obvious.
Media stars, political statesmen, and leaders, present and in the past are not immune from our prying eyes. The silver lining may be that those previously put on pedestals are really human just like us. What is more, is that others found in our daily lives might be more heroic than we thought.
For me your radio show adds credence to this belief as you spotlight the real heros of this world who are dealing with adversity on a daily basis. ~ Sanford Rosenthal
Some of the most brilliant, aware, creative, compassionate and courageous souls I've known are those who are regarded as 'disabled'. Yet these are the ones who rise above great challenges and apparent adversity with such nobleness of spirit and a passion that's so enduring. With the Freedom to Travel Show, Cyndi does an exquisite job at shining the light on these gems and bridging the gap that's kept people in the dark for far too long. She's enabling everyone to travel to new heights of awareness and arrive at a place of tremendous love and a depth of understanding formerly unattainable due to the stigma imposed by fear. I am deeply honoured to have Cyndi as a friend and colleague and I am forever grateful for her wonderful work. ~ Rev. Juliet Nightingale, Toward The Light
